In November 2009, First Professionals Insurance Company, Inc. acquired Advocate, MD Insurance Group, Inc. and its subsidiary insurer Advocate, MD Insurance of the Southwest Inc (Advocate, MD). AM Best assigned an A- (Excellent) financial strength rating to Advocate, MD in December 2009.

Anesthesiologists Professional Assurance Company (APAC) provides professional liability insurance exclusively to the anesthesiology specialty. Since 1984, APAC has been dedicated to meeting the specific needs of anesthesiologists, including specialized risk management and educational programs. APAC currently writes professional liability insurance in several states, including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Texas.

Intermed Insurance Company provides professional liability insurance for physicians and dentists in the states of Missouri and Kansas. Headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, Intermed has provided exceptional service to its policyholders for nearly 30 years.
